I'll begin by saying that I can definitely have an attitude; especially if it's on the court or if someone treats me as if I'm stupid. There was quite a bit of context in the clip that I heard. Bale repeatedly explained what he was angry about. My first thoughts were that he's REALLY pissed and that he was on a roll with his anger. Next, I thought that the director and DP should've had more backbone. Actors mention respect as they have on your Blog Talk. They aren't above that though. I understand that their lack of words might've kept the show rolling without losing the key actor. However, he spoke to them like they were children. Maybe he went back and apologized later on. One thing that I do know is that if the scene called for anger, they achieved it later. Some directors intentionally put actors in situations in order for them to reach that emotion. Clearly they have it on this clip.

the man was def angry .. no doubt about that. and as a director, i have to say that mcg should've stepped in, but when these cats are highest paid on set, they get more deference than any1 else. that wouldn't have gone down on a spike/spielberg/scorsese/stone/etc set...
